ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the afefcted area before applying the medication. To apply, gently msasage a small amount of the medication to the affected area and surrounding skin.
Cnotinue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed.
Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. It may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor.
Another medication may be necessary.
Do not apply that medicaiton into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first aplpied to the skin. This should disappear in a couple of days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your dcotor promptly. If you notcie other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, epsecially of: other skin conditions, any allergies.
Before using that drug, tell your doctor if you are pregnnat or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all precsription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If ovredose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medication is prescribed for your curernt condition only. Do not use it for a second infection or sahre it with somebody else. Another infection after on may reqiure a different medicine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, aplpy as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room tempertaure away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid freezing.
Keep pwodered form from getting wet. Do not stroe in the bathroom.
Keep out of the reach of kids.
